Kelmien is a province part of the South Aquita region. It borders the provinces of Richiellou and Marisella, the Gurnee Bay to the Northeast, and the Antarctic Ocean to the south. Of the nine provinces, Kelmien has the 7th highest GDP, the 8th largest population, and the 7th largest by land area. It's capital and largest city is Kelmien City on the island of Marisella to the east. Modern day Kelmien was first inhabited by Indigenous people, and Kelmien was first conquered by the Kingdom of Aquita in 701. Kelmien offically became a province of Aquita on December 2nd, 709, eight years after first becoming part of the Kingdom of Aquita. With an estimated population of 16,909,161 million, Kelmien is the second least populated of the Aquita provinces, ahead of Marisella.
