History
The calendar was first developed in Arima and was originally used for agriculture, religious reasons, and recordkeeping. Its use later spread far beyond its place of origin through contact with neighboring cultures and protostates.
The name remains associated with Arima despite its use in areas outside Enequit and Lucithia.
