Operation Overthrow

Operation Overthrow was a large-scale military and political intervention organized by ADA following the violent collapse of the SSK. After the dissolution of the SSK, the governments of Frenkila and Kolviska each claimed to be its legitimate successor and attempted to inherit its international position, military authority, and remaining strategic assets. Their rivalry contributed to the destabilization and eventual collapse of both states.

The former Frenkilan and Kolviskan territories subsequently fragmented into a number of competing successor states. These governments fought over territory, political legitimacy, industrial resources, and control of the remaining SSK military infrastructure. The conflict became an international crisis when several successor states acquired portions of the former SSK nuclear arsenal and began threatening their use against rival governments.

In response, ADA authorized Operation Overthrow. The operation was initially intended to remove governments that possessed nuclear weapons, refused international disarmament demands, and were not aligned with ADA. Its stated objective was to secure or destroy the surviving SSK nuclear arsenal before it could be used or transferred to other actors.

The intervention rapidly expanded beyond its original scope. Resistance from several Frenkilan and Kolviskan successor states, combined with disagreements over nuclear inspections and political recognition, led to direct warfare between ADA forces and multiple regional governments.
