Timeline
This article is wholly out of universe and is not written as an article the Aronians would write.
The following timeline summarizes the major eras of Project Aron, from early Aronian evolution to the formation of the Federations of Aron.
Early Aronian Era
Overview
The Early Aronian Era covers the period before agriculture, writing, and organized states. Aronians evolved as coordinated endurance predators, protected nesting sites, and increasingly complex tool use. Their early societies were semi-nomadic, organized around hunting, fire, nesting, and transmitting learned behaviors.
Statistics
- Population: 4.8 million
- Total GDP: 18.5 billion USD
- Technology: Stone tools, fire, early shelters, oral tradition
Agricultural Era
Overview
The Agricultural Era began when Aronian groups developed permanent or semi-permanent settlements around reliable food production and housing. Agriculture, animal management, land burning, pottery, storage systems, and inheritance allowed population growth and the first large communities.
Statistics
- Population: 61.4 million
- Total GDP: 214.0 billion USD
- Technology: Agriculture, pottery, irrigation, early metallurgy
Early Civilization Era
Overview
The Early Civilization Era saw the rise of cities, writing systems, organized religion, formal law, and political authority. Several independent centers of civilization emerged across Aron rather than from one single origin. These early states created many of the cultural, linguistic, and territorial divisions that later shaped Aronian history.
Statistics
- Population: 192.0 million
- Total GDP: 712.5 billion USD
- Sovereign states: 340
- Technology: Writing, bronze and iron metallurgy, roads, organized armies
Classical and Imperial Era
Overview
The Classical and Imperial Era was defined by large empires, legal bindings, long-distance trade, professional armies, philosophy, and major religious systems. Several states achieved regional dominance and vast empires. The era established many of the old imperial borders and cultural spheres that later countries inherited.
Statistics
- Population: 412.6 million
- Total GDP: 1.43 trillion USD
- Sovereign states: 216
- Off-world population: 0
- Technology: Roads, oceanic navigation, advanced agriculture, formal bureaucracy
Early Modern Era
Overview
The Early Modern Era connected Aron's major continents and island chains through oceanic trade, colonial expansion, banking, professional diplomacy, and large gunpowder states. Maritime powers became increasingly important, and conflicts between continental empires and commercial states expanded in scale. The period created the first truly global economy.

First Cold War Era
Overview
The early Cold War was a rivalry between the UFSL, the SSK, and the Entaran Empire. The three powers competed through nuclear weapons development, espionage, ideological rivalry, proxy conflicts, and the space race. Entara weakened under the cost of defending its vast territories and suppressing uprisings.

- Technology: Nuclear weapons, analog computing, jet aircraft, early satellites
Entaran Collapse Era
Overview
The Entaran Empire collapsed after the SSK invaded Entaran territory and the UFSL intervened to prevent either an Entaran victory or an excessive expansion of SSK power. The collapse of Entara ended the 3 way balance and left the UFSL and SSK as the two dominant powers on Aron. Former Entaran regions became divided between occupation zones, puppet governments, unstable successor states, and reinstated governments.

Second Cold War Era
Overview
After Entara's collapse, global politics became dominated by the rivalry between the UFSL and SSK. Both blocs maintained large militaries, nuclear arsenals, space programs, and competing systems of allied states. This era produced the most intense phase of the Aronian arms race and shaped nearly every major geopolitical crisis of the late twentieth century.
Statistics
- Population: 3.48 billion
- Total GDP: 31.20 trillion USD
- Sovereign states: 102
- Nuclear powers: 5
- Off-world population: 322 (nonpermanent)

Kertari Crisis Era
Overview
The Kertari Meteor crisis began after Kertari was identified as a major threat to Aron. The emergency redirected scientific, military, and space infrastructure toward planetary defense. The Delari and Septum systems were developed to reduce the impact danger, while other space missions were suspended during the emergency.
Statistics
- Population: 3.79 billion
- Total GDP: 34.85 trillion USD

2112 Collapse
Overview
In 2112 the global economy completely shattered. Financial systems, orbital infrastructure, supply chains, national governments, and major corporations entered a cascading failure that destroyed the economic order of modern Aron. The crisis triggered political revolutions across Lucithia, Kifahn, Enequit, and other developed regions, eventually contributing to the collapse of the remaining major factions.

Collapse and Reconstruction Era
Overview
The Collapse and Reconstruction Era lasted from 2112 to 2231. During this period, the old world economy remained broken, many governments dissolved, and surviving populations prioritized food, energy, shelter, communications, and orbital cleanup over national sovereignty. Large corporations initially continued operating in some regions, but most eventually collapsed under supply-chain failure and loss of state protection.

Harmony Era
Overview
The Harmony Era began around 2231, when reconstruction, computing, materials science, energy systems, automation, and orbital infrastructure reached a stable integrated form. This period ended the long recovery from the 2112 collapse and allowed large-scale expansion throughout the Hope and Fate system. The movement that began as a planetary reconstruction organization later became the foundation of the Federations of Aron.
