Aron
Aron is a wet, highly hospitable planet and the only astronomical object known to harbor intelligent life. As of 2027 Aron is politically divided amongst many countries. It orbits about 0.65 AU away from Hope and is the second largest rocky planet in the Hope system, with a diameter of 11,457km0.1 Lumacahr. It takes roughly 269 days 269 ARON days, it would take 358 EARTH days to orbit for Aron to orbit Hope and said orbit has very slight inclination and eccentricity, and has a day period of 32 hours8.0 octants. Aron is full of diverse environments, from forests to mountains and deserts, anything can be found. Aron's average temperature is 27 degrees celcius, making it the most livable planet in not just the Hope system, but the entire Hope and Fate system as a whole. The planet has an atmosphere composed of 77.9% nitrogen, 20.9% oxygen, and small percentages of other gases, whilst sustaining an atmospheric pressure of 1.97 atm0.122 NeoPSL.
Aron is not just unique in its habitability but also its moons. Aron has two moons, Nyx and Parvus, with a diameter of 6251km32.7 Sytocahr and 2676km14.0 Sytocahr respectively, making them among the largest moons of any non-gas giant planet in the Hope and Fate system.
Nyx
Nyx is a wet, temperate moon very similar to Aron in its atmosphere, oceans, biosphere, and environment. The moon has a diameter of 6251km32.7 Sytocahr and a somewhat lower density, making it a little over 10% the mass of Aron. Its large core and geological activity allows the moon to host a magnetic field, extensive atmosphere, and large oceans similar to Aron. Orbiting 277,846km2.8 Lumacahr on average, Nyx forms a binary system with Aron sharing a common barycenter outside of Aron itself. Nyx remains the first known object to be seeded with Aronian life via lithopanspermia.
Parvus
Parvus, in contrast, is an airless rocky moon. It is 2676km14.0 Sytocahr in diameter and orbits 780,000km8.0 Lumacahr away from Aron and Nyx's common barycenter. The moon is very dead with little to no geological activity, however it has an extremely large core which is up to 90% of the moon's radius. Parvus therefore likely used to be much larger before having a majority of its upper layers stripped away in some past collision.
