Aron contains seven major continents as of 2027:

The continents of Aron differ considerably in climate, geology, ecology, and habitability. Most of the planet's early civilizations developed in fertile river valleys and coastal plains, while deserts, mountain ranges, glaciers, and dangerous wildlife restricted migration between regions. These natural barriers contributed to the formation of distinct populations, cultures, and ecosystems.

Enequit

Enequit consists primarily of plains, fertile river basins, and agricultural land. These conditions made it one of the most suitable places on Aron for the development of permanent settlements. Early Equitan societies could produce large food stocks, allowing centralized governments to appear early.

Although much of Enequit is flat, several large mountain ranges break up the plains. The most prominent is the Peneqian Range, which contains the tallest mountain on Aron, Mount Layor. Snow and rainfall from the range feed into Enequits rivers, making the mountains important to agriculture and water supplies.

The feet of the Peneqian Range and many other mountains are rich in metallic ores. Mining towns developed throughout mountain regions, while the surrounding plains were dominated by farming and livestock cultures. Rivers flowing away from the mountains became major transport routes and encouraged trade.

Lucithia

Lucithia is the most geologically diverse continent on Aron. Its landscape includes plains, river deltas, deserts, mesas, volcanos, forests, wetlands, and plateaus. This variety has produced a large number of isolated towns and communities and has made Lucithia one of the most biologically diverse regions on the planet.

The northeast contains large fertile lands and many major deltas. Rainfall and flooding deposits large amounts of nutrient rich material to the plains of this area making it a prime location for the Ripian cultures to develop.

The northwest is dominated by the Seracul Desert, an arid region reaching the highest recorded temperature on Aron at 61.2 Celsius0.67 Cahree in the Laurth Salt Flats. Rainfall is incredibly scarce, only receiving 2 inches0.6 Fitocahr of rainfall in the most arid regions. Most permanent settlements are located around oases noteI cannot believe that is the plural of oasis, aquifers, or trade routes. Dust storms frequently travel across the desert and can reduce or destroy visibility for several days.

South of the Red Desert lies the Iter Supervolcano, located within Iter National Park. The area is dominated by geysers, volcanic vents, boiling pools, and large underground cave systems. Although the surface is dangerous, the region contains some of the most extreme organisms on Aron, such as the Jakfish.

Kifahn

Kifahn consists mainly of fertile western and central lands, and a vast desert region in the east. This desert acted as a gigantic natural barrier between Kifahn and Enequit for much of early history. Direct travel across it was dangerous, and contact between the two cultures limited to coastal routes and a small number of desert crossings.

Northwestern Kifahn contains large farmable land and several river systems. The eastern desert contains plateaus, salt flats, dunes, and dry valleys. Temperatures vary a lot between day and night, and oases noteI still cannot believe that is the correct term for plural oasis.

Verronia

Verronia is a cold northern continent mainly filled with glaciers, tundra, frozen plains, and mountains. Much of northern Verronia remains covered in snow throughout the year. Its winters are long and dark, while summers are brief and generally too cold and arid to support agriculture. The western area of the continent is filled with the Yakakri Mountain Range, the longest mountain range on Aron. It stretches almost continuously from southern Verronia to northern Verronia.

Mancha

Mancha is a Verronia sized continent with scare but rich mineral deposits and low amounts of agricultural land. Its soils are thin, acidic, or low on ammonium and bicarbonate necessary for photosynthesis. As a result, Mancha supports a small population and biodiversity.

Mancha is best known for its wildlife. Many Manchan organisms are large, territorial, and highly aggressive. Colonial and pack species are particularly common.

Mancha is home to the largest omnivorous pack zoavians on Aron. These creatures can consume both plant and animal matter and are capable of defending large territories. Some packs build extensive nests, burrows, or structures that alter the surrounding environment.

O'Nesia

O'Nesia is a fragmented island dominated continent consisting of Enkalia, the tropical belt, the Encarie Islands, and many other smaller islands. Its warm oceans, beaches, and small far apart landmasses have made maritime travel and boat construction central to the O'Nesian cultures

Enkalia is the largest landmass in O'Nesia, and is split into two main regions. The Mountain Region consists of many short mountain ranges in a large section with low amounts of fertile plains, the mountains are only broken by occasional rivers. The Desert Region stretches across eastern Enkalia to the eastern shoreline. It contains dry plains, basins, dunes, and salt flats. Rainfall is uncommon, although storms can cause sudden flooding in dry valleys.

North of Enkalia lies the tropical belt, which receives heavy seasonal rainfall and contains dense forests, wetlands, and swamps.

The Encarie Islands forms a major part of O'Nesia. Its islands vary in size and habitability, ranging from volcanic and mountainous islands to lowland tropical islands. Beneath the surrounding waters of the Selt Island lies the Encarie Supervolcano, the largest known supervolcano on Aron. Its volcanic system is approximately three times the size of the Iter Supervolcano and has played a major role in several mass extinctions.

Paraglacios

Paraglacios noteAlso called Arctica, but that's too Earth like, so we call it Paraglacios is the southmost continent on Aron and contains the planet's southern pole. It is the coldest continent on Aron and the largest desert by total area, covering approximately 20,300,000 km0.4 Entocahr².
